Join us for How We Made This 2025 — CUP’s annual event where we reunite collaborators from past <a href="https://welcometocup.org/making-policy-public">Making Policy Public</a> projects.

This year, we are bringing together the team behind the project Here to Stay! 
<a href="https://welcometocup.org/projects/here-to-stay">Here to Stay</a> was created in 2021 in collaboration between CUP, The Door, and designer Grace Han. The project explains a unique path to a green card called Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) for young immigrants under the age of 21. The guide explains what SIJS is, the criteria to qualify, the process young people work through with the support of a lawyer, and the long-term benefits of SIJS.
Together, we’ll talk about the policy the project explains, the decisions we made as a team, and how the project is used, then and now. To support these community collaborations, this How We Made This has a sliding scale ticket of $5–$15. All ticket sales directly support our work to continue making policy public.
